Below are answers to our most common questions.
No. Vital Explorations is a private-pay (cash-based) practice. Insurance is not accepted at this time. Superbills are available for out-of-network reimbursement, and HSA/FSA cards are welcome.
Rates are transparent and vary by service type. See scheduling page HERE for current rates. Payment is due at the time of booking.
New psychiatric patients are typically scheduled within one week. There is no waitlist
Yes. All psychiatric and follow-up appointments can be conducted securely through HIPAA-compliant telehealth for residents of New Mexico.
Yes — for non-clinical services. Psychiatric care is available only to New Mexico residents. However, integrative, holistic, and coaching services are available to clients across the United States under Cameron’s other professional certifications.
Cameron provides somatic breathwork therapy, vibrational therapy, and psychedelic integration sessions as part of her holistic offerings. These approaches are designed to regulate the nervous system, deepen healing, and enhance outcomes for clients receiving psychiatric care or working with other therapists.
For clients needing talk therapy, Cameron collaborates closely with licensed therapists and integration specialists to ensure cohesive, whole-person support.

No. You can book directly without a referral.
Yes. We value integrative care and will coordinate with your therapist, primary-care clinician, or other specialists upon request (with your consent)
Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a full session fee. We respect your time and ask for the same courtesy.
A guided process that uses breath and body awareness to regulate the nervous system, release stress, and enhance clarity. It’s trauma-informed and often used to complement psychiatric care.
Vibrational therapy uses sound, resonance, and frequency-based tools (e.g., tuning forks, singing bowls) to restore balance in the nervous system and deepen relaxation.
Energy medicine works with the body’s subtle energy fields to promote coherence, vitality, and balance.
Sessions may include light touch, guided awareness, or energetic mapping to identify and release stagnation.
It is non-invasive and complementary to medical or psychiatric treatment.
Integration therapy supports individuals after psychedelic or plant-medicine experiences—helping them process insights, emotions, and spiritual shifts safely.
No substances are used or supplied. Sessions focus on grounding, meaning-making, and nervous-system stabilization.
No. Psychedelics are not administered or prescribed in this practice. All integration work occurs after external or ceremonial experiences
Herbal support involves evidence-informed recommendations for gentle botanicals that may help regulate mood, energy, or sleep.
Herbs are not prescribed as medication, but discussed as part of a holistic plan. Cameron draws from traditional herbal medicine, modern research, and safety data to ensure compatibility with prescribed treatments.
Many are, but some can interact with medications. Herbal suggestions are always reviewed for safety and interactions before being included in your care plan.
Yes. Somatic and mindfulness-based approaches have extensive research supporting their role in improving anxiety, depression, and trauma recovery.
Emerging studies on sound, biofield, and breath-based therapies show promising physiological benefits. All interventions used here are trauma-informed and evidence-informed.
